It's home in a little nook inside a strip shopping mall in Mission Viejo. This tiny place offers wine pairing meals and prix fixe menus. I loved the rather special menu and our waiter. I have a dairy allergy and he said picked whatever you'd like, I will make sure it's safe and also delicious. And he did. What more could possibly anyone ask?
3. Mangia Bene
Another fine place that is located in the strip mall of Aliso Viejo, ca, this one inside Laguna Hills. From the outside you'd probably never guess how beautiful the Tuscan decoration is inside. The menu is Northern Italian and incredibly fresh. My husband loves the pasta with smoked salmon and vodka sauce. Normally I will love any of the grilled fish specials.
4. Romano's Macaroni Grill
Yes, it is a chain, but what makes this type of neat to go to isn't the food. It's decent fare, don't get me wrong - they have plenty of options to please everyone from carnivores to vegans. Why does it get yourself a vote as one of the better places? The ambiance. Cozy tables that are meant for families crayons and paper table clothes to really encourage your group, no matter what the ages, to be imaginative while waiting for dinner. The portions are so huge which the last time our group of 10 went - my mother, sister and I shared the linguini and clam sauce! Don't miss Mario's, but please bring a crowd or make sure you have sufficient room in your fridge for any leftovers!
